Your account & personal data
Delete your AngelDrive account
You can delete your account in the app or request deletion by email, even if you cannot sign in.
Request account deletion by emailThis button opens your email app; it does not submit a request. If it does not open, use Gmail or another email service to send your request to privacy@angeldrive.com.
Request deletion without the app
Email privacy@angeldrive.com with the subject “AngelDrive account deletion request.” You do not need to sign in or reinstall AngelDrive to make a request.
Include the phone number or email address associated with your AngelDrive account so we can locate it. Do not send your password, sign-in codes, identity documents, crash photographs, or other evidence in the email.
We will verify your identity through the phone number or email on your account before acting. If you no longer have access to either, explain that in your request so we can discuss verification. Sending an email starts a request; it does not immediately delete an account.
Our Privacy Policy provides for a response within 45 days, with one further 45-day extension with notice. Processors may need additional time to complete a verified deletion request.
Delete your account in the app
Open AngelDrive, go to Settings, and find Account & legal. Select Delete account, read the confirmation, and confirm if you want to proceed.
Deleting the app from your phone or signing out does not delete your AngelDrive account.
What happens to your account and data
Account deletion removes your ability to sign in, ends account-based location sharing, and removes or de-identifies your account profile. Your Halo memberships, Halos you created, saved places, and live-location record are removed. Push registrations are disabled and unlinked from your account. Deleting through the app also stops crash detection on that phone.
Ordinary location and driving records are subject to their operational retention schedule rather than an immediate purge of every stored copy. Applicable processors receive verified deletion requests; processing can take time.
Crash records, evidence, and messages to a sponsoring firm may be retained where legally required, subject to a legal hold, or needed to establish or defend legal claims. Evidence can also be subject to a write-protection period. These records are not automatically erased by closing your account.
If you have a pending claim, tell us and your sponsoring firm. Information already robustly anonymized and no longer reasonably linked to you may not be retrievable as your personal information.
See sections 9 and 10 of our Privacy Policy for retention periods, exceptions, and your choices. This page explains how to request deletion; it does not replace that policy.
